* Cough, cough,cough, hack

OK, I had a better title for this blog but the one I finally chose sums up my last three days the best. On Thursday, I woke up for school and couldn't talk, my throat was killing, it was sooooo sore. Of course, Thursdays are always interesting because I usually have music class during school, and then after school we have band. playing my trumpet went marvelously when I couldn't talk for the majority of the day. I mean, I could talk but it hurt and it was quiet and my voice kept cracking. Not good...
After band, I give Flirt, a ride to dance class. My brother Niko, Isn't to fond of that plan. 1) He's convinced Flirt is evil. 2) He's convinced Flirt is evil, what more can I say.
At dance, I tired myself out. I mean, I got home and tried to do my homework, but almost passed out on the stairs on my way to get a dictionary. Looks like I was wrong, I told Flirt, I would be at school the next day. Of course to do that, I would have to first get out of bed which I couldn't do for several hours. I had Like 6 water bottles around me and needed to take a drink every couple of minutes. I was coughing nonstop and could barely make a sound at all. It was Just a little bit .... in don't know ...... Terrible! I missed getting my report card, I had drama the next day and I couldn't talk! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Saturday wasn't actually that bad, My throat still hurt, but I could talk again and i wasn't coughing as much. I went to my acting class where we attempted our first timed full run through of The Little Mermaid. It went well, I was prompter and I got in there and did all of my scuttle scenes. They were very impressed with my songs especially Positoobity! I was pretty happy with myself and when I got home, My family sat down and Finally watched Akeela and the Bee, It's a pretty good movie...
Anyways, Then came Earth hour, I was tempted to sleep through it but my fam. got out apples to apples and well, I couldn't miss that! Apples to Apples, is a game of comparison so you pick an adj. Say.... Gaudy, and people put in the nouns card in their hand that is the most gaudy thing. Ex. Manhattan, my house. Etc. then you pick the one you like most and they win the round. It's super funny at times like when Zed put Barney for frightening! Yup, that's pretty much been the last three days.
Adios

Just not my day...

H1~ people, (If you didn't understand that, why on earth r u reading MY blog geese) before I tell you about my marvellous (cough, cough) day, let me put you through the highlights of yesterday.
1) We had band, amazing wonderful band! At 7:30 in the morning, at a school that is a half hour drive away! Oh ya! It was a whole lot of fun! especially with my sore throat!
2) I got home, and noticed, my mom had crashed or not crashed but skidded against a concrete pole. Fun right, especially since it was the third of three cars she's done this to.

Now on to my marvelous day! My day started with Sudoku. Our math teacher passed them out to entertain us for ten minutes while our art teacher got ready etc. If any of you have done a Sudoku before esp. with me, you know that you can NOT tear a girl away from her Sudoku as soon as she gets into it. That is exactly what my art teacher did, only to interrupt us with her stupid assignment; Draw the bottom of you shoe...... and then color it. I know that's definitely on my to do list in life. Then came math. I'm kind of a math geek so math is usually a strong point in my day and I like my math teacher so, math class is usually a happy place. Today however, there was a substitute and thank goodness because she unleashed the most evil form of math. (are you guys ready for this ) METRIC CONVERSIONS!!!!!!
In music, we also had a substitute teacher which was lame because she was like Ok, we're gonna start a 17, did you get that 17, do you kids know how to count bars, because if you don't, I'll waste both of our time to teach you. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Finally lunch and recess good happy thing right, Lunch was fine and recess was Ok to that is, until Kirnan (Sybil's new boy friend) dragged me into the mud and I fell down, promptly and thoroughly soaking and muddying up my butt.

This was only half my day. I also missed all of gym class to go fill out forms to confirm my giftedness which was terrible because I missed Gymnastics and then when I came back for the end, I wasn't stretched so I almost killed my wrists...

great news in the next class. French. our teacher was under the impression that routine was comforting. She was also under the impression that Dictee was routine and that we liked Dictee. Of course she was way off but that didn't stop her from bringing back dictee anyways!

English however turned my day around, we read poetry then answered some simple questions and then read at the library! No sarcasm here, I was happy!

Then I went home and did my homework and now I'm blogging. That's where my day shall end
until tomorro

march break is over sweet heart!

Ya so I haven't really told you all what happened over the march break so I'l do a quick summary...
-I went to the farm with my cousins.
-My parents made us walk downtown (2 hours and 37minutes of hell)
-we went swimming at Walter Baker center
-Something else happened but it must not have been important because I forgot about it...
Anyways that's pretty much it. I got back to school today and saw my friends Sybil, Erin and Kelsey! Yay!... Unfortunately, flirtatious wasn't in our class so I only got to see her for like 2 mins. outside. Sybil and I were talking about omg I missed you moments (omg how am I ever going to cope without her next year if after one week I'm like Glad to have you back, wish you were never gone etc. etc.) when we were very rudely interrupted by our teacher trying to take attendance. see our teach is a totally visual person so if you're not sitting at your desk, she totally has a spas at your head... Not fun....
ya so it was a pretty long day but at least we got some work done on our gerbil! (see we can choose our projects for wood shop and since Kelsey's gerbil just died, we're making a tribute to him in form of wood complete with basket and cushion)
Omg and one more thing about my day! We had to do these presentations about a person you admire or an inspirational person and this kid that I hate (code name Constipated french man or CFM) went first see this kid is really funny and also really stupid, we used to get along fine... then he ruined it by asking me out and then following me around like a lost puppy until I said yes. (Side note, I turned him down 11 and a half times) anyways he went first and totally winged it and made a total fool of himself but no one caught on beacause that's what all of his presentations look like, and he changed his accent like 6 times, first he was mexican then he was russian the he was french then irish then british then ... oh you get the point.
So ya that's all I really wanted to talk about and a quick shout out (because I'm bored and my brothers tutor has locked me in here alsoI've alwas wanted to do these)
-Sybil you're awesome! you're my inspirational person
-Flirt You are my total drama queen but we love that about you
-Kelsey you're ... I don't have an adjective for you yet but you are totally Persephone
-Everyone else awesome enough to read this blog well... you're something but I'm sure you all need a life otherwise you wouldn't be reading a total strangers blog... Duh!

Kim is here and I have clothes...

Okay, not really much has happened but I was on the computer so I figured I'd update. For those of you who know Kim, she was here yesterday. We entertained ourselves by writing stories about my brother being abducted ( he he long story) and hanging outside in the still freakishly warm weather. My mom also insisted that to prevent another wardrobe crisis, we needed to go shopping. (which for me is like saying, we need to go soak our heads in ice water for hours on end or we need to go eat the senior boys basket ball team's shoes.) The sad part is that after an hour and a half, I got a pair of shoes, a pair of jeans and a skirt! (and then today we had to go out and buy a shirt to go with the skirt but I'll get to that in a second)
Today started like well a Thursday morning. My dad was yelling at me to get out of bed and hurry to tidy my room (which was already clean) because the cleaning people were coming in an hour. Well as we get into the day, my mom decides, hey lets walk down to Dick's(don't laugh, it is a local restaurant near my house) for lunch! Brilliant mom then I can get my shoes dirty and get some exercise! Anyways, on our way out, my mom asks if we know what inspiration means. We all say yes and she asks us to describe it. My sister is all like "It means to be inspired" and I look over at my mom and give this short but elaborate definition of inspiration and I was all proud of myself and my mom's telling me how good of a definition it was when my brother buts in and yells "It has more than one definition" ya Niko and I just got all of them in one sentence so shut it. My mom has decided that we are going to find an bunch of cool or inspirational people and sayings even quotes or songs and post them on a wall in our basement so if you guys know of any, could you let me know cause I want to really contribute to this project.
when we finally get there, we find Care bear and Sybil's "twin" vinegar, drinking milkshakes. So of course we have to say Hi, we even eat lunch with them and then we go to leave and I see a box of chocolates on the counter, the type our school is selling with a sign saying, please buy chocolate and support the SWC band. I turns oput that the owners daughter is a seventh grader at my school creepy right! Okay so I just got home and now I'm typing this and that pretty much concludes my update but I might go see a movie tonight so maybe my life will get more interesting!

St. Patricks day mayhem.

As all of you amazing people know, yesterday, was St. Patrick's day. Dress in green and be merry and walk up and down the sidewalk clicking your heels and speaking with an Irish accent. Being only one eighth Irish, I tried to partake in as many of those as possible. I was doing all right, I was merry, wearing green, celebrating spring, when my brother, Niko (is that his real name? I'll never tell...) runs over and says come on we're meeting Micheal, josh and Justin and the museum of nature in half an hour!
A word about the boys before you meet them, Josh is 4, he love wrestling and goofing around with his brothers, he has a high pitched voice and speaks better french than English. Justin is 7 or maybe 8 by now. He loves his play station, hockey, and wrestling with Josh. Micheal, however is the craziest! He's 11 years old and can't go a week without Hockey, he does his own stunts and specializes in physical humor. He loves laughing and running and being active. The sad part is, he's kind of sick, He had Lithoma (I probably spelled that wrong) which is very curable but still keeps him from hockey tournaments, school, and friends. He's lost all of his hair and wears a hat were ever he goes!
We know them because my dad and their dad were friends as kids. We found them today, out in front of the museum and my brother(also 11) and Micheal immediately engage in conversation about the Simpson's, Youtube and anything else on there mind. Justin and josh were content just to hang out together and my sister was glued to my moms side (pretty pathetic for a nine year old) so I decided my best bet was to try and fit in with mike and Niko.
Once we got in the museum though, Everyone, was talking together, hanging out, chasing josh from exhibit to exhibit, or running around ourselves. I had actually forgotten that I like hanging out with my brother and his friends, as long as they let me hang out with them, we have fun! By the time we left the museum, we were all laughing, I had taught Niko how to click his heels and Micheal was coming to have dinner with us.
The night ended with me shopping. My wardrobe crisis had convinced my mom that I needed shoes and pants and a skirt so we went out and got the cutest shoes awesome jeans and a flared skirt which for me, is a pretty successful shopping day!
One final note, Upon reading Sybil's blog, I realized I didn't tell you guys about the lightning thief! My descriptions don't do it justice so I'll say just one thing, READ IT!
Tata for now, kim's coming over today so I gotta go clean the house;p

the wiz drama

Hey, me again! Your friendly neighbourhood Schwa! Ever have one of those days where it's kind of going slow until someone (Yes Zed I mean you) barges in and tells you, you have huge plans that night and better help around the house because even though you won't be home, The house needs to be clean. Well guess what! yesterday was one of those days. Not that that's always a bad thing but I'm sitting at the computer and my sister bursts in and yells; "We're going to see the wizard of oz tonight at the NAC and you have to clean your room and the kitchen(the kitchen hasn't been cleaned in a few days) and come with me and dad to get groceries!" So my nine year old sister aka Zed starts dragging me around town shopping, then gets me to clean the kitchen for her and I'm sitting there going "wait, what?" Lucky for me Persephone has begun her ascent to mt. Olympus (I hope) because signs of spring are definitely apparent so running around all day wasn't that bad, in fact I was doing fine, a little rushed but fine. That is until my mom comes in and tells us to get ready to go to the NAC quickly because we have to leave soon. I was on my way up stairs when she turns around and utters the terrible phrase "Oh and Schwa, don't wear jeans..."That my friends, Is when I had a total wardrobe meltdown. I'm sure you don't want to hear about my petty struggles to find a way to look good when I eliminate half of my clothes but I need to vent so deal with it. The dress was easy enough to find and it looked good but my leggings were missing and my shoes were ugly and my hair needed to be straightened in a bad way and I was sitting there freaking out thinking "Wish Sybil and flirt were here, They would know how to help." By the end of it all I looked ok except my shoes were still ugly and I was on the verge of tears. Quick note: If none of you can understand what I'm talking about, It's because I'm typing at like a mile an hour so don't worry about about it. When we finally got to the NAC, I knew my meltdown was well worth it. We had AMAZING seats, like, 20 rows away from the stage and the three rows in front of use were empty so we had a perfect view! WE got there minutes before the play began so we didn't have to wait long for the lights to dim and the show to start. There are 5 things I realized about the wizard of oz
1. I love the wizard of oz! play, movie, whatever! Always have and always will! I used to watch it 700000 times back to back when I was 5... then I got a life but I still love it! (Flirt you said you saw it, did you adore it? Also I thought Sybil would have really liked it what do you think? I was I could have brought you guys along!) 2.OMFG! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SCARECROW!!! HE'S TOTALLY MINE!!! Omg he's such a scuttle! (little mermaid reference for those of you that didn't catch that) He has a tap number and crows for gulls and he does tumbles and doesn't have a brain and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I love him!
3. In case you didn't already know, everyone in the real world in Dorothy's life has a place in oz ; Auntie Em is Glinda the good witch of the north, Uncle Henry is the doorman/ guard person dude at emerald city, Dr. Marvel, is the wizard of Oz, the three barn hands Hickory, Zeke and Hunk were (in that order) tin man, lion and scarecrow, the munchkins were the farmers, poor helpless and ruled by flying monkey( the politicians. no joke.) and of course the wicked witch of the west.
4. Dorothy was totally in love with the guy who became scarecrow! They kept singling each other out in such discreet yet totally obvious ways. Also people kept leaving them together alone on stage. The writter obviously did it on purpose because he made the scarecrow say like 1 million times " I would do anything to help you Dorothy" or " What about Dorothy, we need to help her first." and even "Pull yourself together and do this for Dorothy". Soo sweet... and even at the end when dorothy gets back to Kansas, the two people she most wants to see are Auntie Em and Scarecrow and as soon as she sees him, she hugs him for like half an hour. After all, the guys name is hunk...
5. Wow, I just realised, we should totally do the wiz for acting next year! I'll have to ask Genna ! Genna who? When I get around to bloging about my family and friends, I'll let you know
may the gods be with you,

Introduction to me...

Okay so some of you may or may not know me but I writting basically to KIT with my freinds Sybil and Flirtatious over the march break. Who am I you ask, wouldn't you like to know... but for know I will be calling myself Schwa. What Type of a name is that? Read the schwa was here then maybe you'll understand. Being greek, I'm really into greek myths so I may refer to them once in a while. Here's some stuff you should know...

Zeus was the god of gods, He saved his brothers and sisters from being eaten, well not entierly but I'm leaving it up to you to find the story. He rules the sky, The rain, snow and all of electricity.

Athena was one of Zeuses daughters and had a very interesting birth, Zeus heard from the all knowing oracle that if his next child was a son, he would be smart enough to completely overthrough him and take his place so, He ate Athena's mother and one day woke up with a spitting head ache and knowing he was immortal and couldn't die, chopped his head open and out pops Athena, dressed in full battle armour out of zeus's head. SHe wasn't interested in power, being the godess of wisdom and battle so zeus was cool with her. Another thing that Athena and I have in common, She wasn't really into love, like she wasn't cold just she loved everyone equally so she became a maiden and chose never to marry. She did actually have alot of guys after her though, Hephaestos had a thing for her and if poseidon hadn't chanlenged her so many times, they would have gotten along, also I think hermes had a crush on her for a while to.

One more god i want to talk about is Hades. Lord of the underworld, he was beleived to be eveil and cold but personally, I think he's just lonely down there and sour from being called evil. That's probably why he took persephone. ( Again, you do the research)

Not alot has been happening lately that I want to write about because I have been sick in bed fore the past two days. The only good thing is that I'm going to see the wisard of oz at the NAC tonight. YAY.

I also want to mention I'm writting a book... what about? Do you really think I'm stupid enough to write that on my blog? Greek myths will be associated though.

THis blog was supposed to be an intro to me but I'm out of time so safe that for next blog...
